Yoga for Cancer Recovery Teacher Training

 This course explores cancer and it’s causes with both the modern  scientific understanding and the yogic perspective, focusing on managing  the side effects, boosting Immunity and improving recovery for cancer survivors, with advice and information to assist the formation of yogic management plans for people with different types of cancer. Yoga teachers will gain an understanding of current treatments and their effects, as well as learn modifications, contraindications, and considerations for different types of cancer, preparing them to work effectively and with sensitivity with students dealing with cancer and their families.  This course open to anyone working with cancer clients, but is most appropriate for yoga teachers with an RYT-200 or higher designation.   Note: Yoga for Cancer Recovery is a part of  Yoga Therapy Concentration A for those enrolled in the IAYT Accredited 800 hour training.
