Yoga for Depression and Anxiety covers the physical, mental, and spiritual effects of anxiety and depression, and yoga techniques and practices that can be applied to ease these states.
An understanding of Kleshas, Dukha, and obstacles to living in balance helps the yoga teacher lead students to develop a deeper awareness of the physical and emotional toll anxiety and depression have on one’s life and body, and to provide tools to ease the symptoms of clients, while also understanding the need to solve the underlying causes of these states and how yoga can be a part of the healing process.
