Yoga Nidra or "Yogic Sleep,” is an ancient healing practice offered by those who have great respect & love for the experience. Learning to lead this special practice is a transformative experience. This two-day training immerses participants into the lineage & history of Yoga Nidra as they experientially receive varying styles of the practice. Breadth of study will include: understanding the states of consciousness; how brain waves are affected during meditative practices like yoga nidra; addressing Poly-vagal Theory; and exploring the Koshic model’s relationship. Practicum includes authentically leading Nidra experiences from prepared scripts and creating unique scripts of one’s own. This course is open to Yoga Teachers and Nidra enthusiasts looking to delve deeper into this ancient healing practice. 20 CEUs are available to those who qualify.
